The band started out several years ago in the busiest city in South Africa, Johannesburg, with a couple guys who had the ambition to make music that is thought-provoking, purposeful, and creative.

The band consists of Daniel, Martin, Josh, Gavin, and Pieter. Each playing their specific part in order to bring about their unique sound.

The band recorded an EP in 2007 called Start Today, which was aimed at youth in Christian circles. The six songs on the EP are reflections of their walk with God and an encouragement to other Christians to keep walking and pressing on. After their release, they have been refining their sound and changed up slightly as they matured in age and skill.

Lyrically, they bring a message of hope, and change. Where life is more than just about mere living. This message was directly related to their faith in Christ and the change He brought about in each of their lives. Musically, they take influences from a variety of styles, and come out with a postpunk-alternative-indie style. They have loved the journey of creating music and making memories with new friends, bands, and fans. They are continuously looking at how they can improve their sound and how they can reflect the light that they have seen in God in all that they do.
